Challenge

Salespeople at Maillefer engaged in client discussions with traditional presentations that were neither engaging nor very comprehensive; if anything, they were too thorough.

The Maillefer team recognised the issue and tried a VR solution to the challenge of showcasing their machines. Coronavirus interrupted and disrupted their process.

Maillefer decided to ask Stereoscape for a new VR solution to replace the previous one they had made with another vendor, and the over 100-page PowerPoint presentation Maillefer salespeople were still using in their meetings.

Solution

Stereoscape considered creating a VR solution, but consulted Maillefer against it, instead proposing an interactive browser-based Web 3D sales & presentation a tool that works both online and offline on any device with a browser.

The tool is called Smartscape. It engages customers in exploratory conversations with salespeople using interactive 3D visuals, a UX/UI that focuses on topics, not details, including comprehensive videos and images rather than in-depth texts, complex, boring blueprints, and way too many charts.
The result is easier sales discussions that lead to faster decision making.

Online anywhere with any PC, laptop, tablet, mobile device, LED screen or touch screen. It can also be brought up in a VR headset’s web browser.
