Historically accurate 3D reconstruction of the Casagrandentalo block, visualizing its evolution from the 1300s to the 1700s. These high-fidelity models serve as the visual core of the Omnia Vincit Amor app created by CTRL Reality, allowing users to step back in time and explore the city’s lost environments.
Client challenge – How to make 500 years of architectural history visible and engaging for modern visitors, transforming research into a living experience.
Our solution – Working with historical data from researcher Panu Savolainen, we built high-quality 3D models of the block and its buildings. These assets were then integrated into an interactive AR app by our partner, CTRL Reality.
Channels – Mobile AR for on-site exploration and a desktop version for a bird’s-eye view of the historical changes.
Outcome – A captivating educational tool that turns a visit to the Casagrandentalo block into an interactive time-travel experience, inspiring new interest in local history.
This project demonstrates the power of our “One Source” philosophy. The high-quality 3D models we created are not just for one app; they are reusable assets. They can now be easily adapted for immersive VR education, marketing videos, or future digital exhibitions without rebuilding from scratch.
