Stereoscape created an innovative, interactive customer experience for the joint Pepsi/Scanburger expo stand at Helsinki Fastfood & Café & Restaurant 2015. The two companies wanted to engage visitors in a new and entertaining way at the show, which presents the latest industry innovations and solutions for trade professionals.
Stereoscape designed and delivered a kinetic photo booth that was able to simultaneously track several persons’ eye movements and allowed them to try on different kinds of virtual animal faces. A kinetic camera – set on top of a digital screen – tracked the eyes of visitors standing in front of the display, which showed the hilarious animations appearing on the visitors’ faces in a fun augmented reality (AR) experience.
The kinetic photo booth inserts a layer of imagination onto the physical reality, offering an enjoyable, interactive experience for customers in events, retail stores or other public spaces. The combination of real and virtual stimulated people’s curiosity and interest at the expo stand and added an extra element of surprise and entertainment into the visitor experience.
